My Apartment Tour

Hello loves,

And happy Sunday afternoon.

I thought I’d share some photos of my favorite areas around my apartment. I have been so excited for this post for quite a while now! I hope you like it!

The first thing I started out buying was my bed set because that way I knew what color to base everything off of. I chose a light peachy blush pink for my bedspread, and then I chose cream and light blue accented with a bronzy rose gold for almost everything else.

When planning what I was going to bring and what colors I wanted to use, I really focused on creating cozy corners and sort of a uniformed textural appeal.

I did this by adding white fur in random places, like my husband pillow and a throw blanket on my papasan chair.

I also wanted to display my beautiful Besame collection, and so I bought a cute vintage lipstick holder on Etsy and set it all up on the shelf of my dresser. This really adds a retro and elegant vibe to my room.

I added a couple cute plants as well. Because some greenery can really “spruce” up a room. 😉 Plus, it can help keep the air clean and healthy to breathe!

As for other accessories, I put up some Polaroid photos (seen above) and as people send me letters or postcards, I put them up around the room to remind me of the people who care about me.

So there you have it: my first dorm room tour. I’m so happy with how everything turned out, and it’s such a comfortable space where I’m free to be creative.

Here’s to another year of education!

P.s. Comment your favorite part about YOUR dorm room! I’d love to hear from you!
